Culture Of Unite

Goodness • Gratitude • Generosity

We display the goodness of God through His grace to bring hope in every life circumstance.

We show gratitude and continual thanksgiving in every area of our lives.

We are empowered to display generosity to those in spiritual, emotional and physical need.

Beliefs That Unite Us

1) There is one true immutable, omnipotent, and omnipresent God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19, John 14:16 NKJV).

2) The Bible is the only inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16 NKJV)

3) Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He is perfect as deity and man. Jesus, as fully man was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life as a man, was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven. He is now alive in heaven, seated at the right hand of the Father. (Mark 16:19, Romans 4:25, 8:34, Philippians 2:7, Colossians 2:9 NKJV)

4) God originally created mankind in His own image. However, as a result of the original fall, humankind needed to be restored. Jesus Christ came to restore all that was lost, rescuing us from darkness and bringing us into the kingdom of His Son through the victory of the cross and His resurrection. (Genesis 1:27, Colossians 1:13, 20 NKJV)

5) Through Jesus Christ’s redemptive victory on the Cross, every believer is empowered by the Holy Spirit to have an abundant life here on earth. Jesus conquered sin, sickness, and lack. He replaced it with His life of everlasting love, peace, and joy. (Isaiah 53:4-5, John 10:10 NJKV)

6) The Holy Spirit lives in and empowers the believer to live a holy and sanctified life, leading and guiding the believer in all truth. (Ephesians 1:13-14, 2 Thessalonians 2:13, 1 John 2:20 NKJV)

7) We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience from the new birth and the fullness of the gifts of the Spirit. (Acts 1:4-8, 2:1-4, 1 Corinthians 12, 14 NKJV)

8) We are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ and adopted as sons and daughters into the kingdom of God. (Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Corinthians 6:18 NKJV)

9) Jesus Christ will return to earth in His glory to consummate His kingdom here on earth. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10 NKJV)

Core Values That Unite Us

Our core values help shape our culture and keep us focused on what is important to God.

Love

“God is love.” (1 John 4:8 NKJV) We are always growing to be more like our Father and to walk in love in every area of our lives.

Family

“Let brotherly love continue.” (Hebrews 13:1 NKJV) Since God created us with a need for each other, we believe in healthy community. We approach the church family with a Go Out and Come Home attitude. The family provides a home, which is a safe place to pray, grow, and change, while embracing a “go out and help others’ mindset.

Generosity

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son.” (John 3:16 NLT) Giving is an outward expression of an inward heart of love. As believers, we give because God gave to us. Everything we have is His and it is our privilege to steward and share His gifts and resources with humankind.

Servanthood

Jesus said, “even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve others” (Matthew 20:28 NLT). We believe that our greatness, as well as our greatest joy, is found in following Jesus’ model of servanthood.

Humility

“Rather, in humility value others above yourselves” (Philippians 2:3 NASB). We embrace humility as our attitude towards God and others, encouraging them to be everything God has called them to be.

Honor

“Honor one another above yourselves.” (Romans 12:10 NIV). We believe that people who are secure in their identity in Christ find it easy to celebrate others and honor how God uniquely created them. We recognize and value the unique gifts, talents and expressions in each person.

Gratitude

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” (Psalm 106:1 NIV). We believe in having hearts that are overflowing with gratitude for who God is and for what He has done. We believe in always expressing appreciation to people through word and deed.

Goodness

“Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:21NKJV). We believe that God provides the grace, wisdom and strategies to overcome any adversity we face in life with His goodness. We believe that by serving and showing God’s goodness to the world we demonstrate His love and power.

Oneness

“I’m asking you, my friends, that you be joined together in perfect unity -with one heart, one passion, and united in one love. Walk together with one harmonious purpose and you will fill my heart with unbounded joy.” (Philippians 2:2 TPT) We believe that each person has special and distinct value and uniqueness. Although every individual is uniquely created, through the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit we can maintain a oneness with others to glorify God.
